Thanks Rosalee. Hope we can book enough gigs for 2010 so Prakash and Karthik can come to play for you.

Last Saturday, Lehera “rocked” Kyra’s…one of the great venues international musicians play in Bangalore when they come through. It was a blast and Lehera played for multiple encores…responded to blues requests with some world-fusion blues! The show was videotaped so expect some new live videos.
Lots of new happenings like an upcoming tour with Indo-jazz pioneers, T.A.S. Mani and Ramamani of the Karnataka College of percussion joining us! I have been a fan of their’s for decades. I will be putting up a page about them and musicians from some of our other collaborations like Keyboardist Shadrock Solomon, one of Dr. L. Subramaniams touring musicians.
I am meeting some really cool artists. people and musicians here after having spent a meditative and regenerative time in Amma’s ashram in Kerala, South India.
For the next few weeks that I am here Lehera will be recording with KCP (see above) and also some Indian devotional music for a US and possibly Canadian tour of the same.
Do leave a comment… always nice to hear from you..the music lover..you are the reason we are not just playing in our homes…And..your feedback can inspire our creativity.
Have an inspiring day…oops did I say inspire twice?..

I wish I was in India… Inspire away!

Yes India!… sometimes can drive you crazy and other times make you cry. .The dust, the dirt, the disorganization, the disparity, the Indian bureaucracy…ruins of the leftover British colonial system… and then the subtlest of melodies, the most complex rhythmic permutations that thrill. and if you “listen” closely..the timeless presence of the Rishis – the fathers of Indian spirituality who penetrated the deepest aspects of mind/body/spirit to bring back the spiritual sciences that have given birth to virtually all Eastern spirituality (including Buddhism) and influenced the spirituality of the world…It’s all here..the darkness and the light and all shades between..
